Ever notice how social contagions infect society?

You see it with social media all the time.

People jump on trends and you see people saying or doing the same things over and over again.

It happens mostly to children.

Social contagion is an ubiquitous process by which information, such as attitudes, emotions, or behaviors, are rapidly spread throughout a group from one member to others without rational thought and reason.

But you would be wrong to think that it does not happen to adults as well.

On your path to wealth and achieving financial freedom you will encounter people that have spread their opinions and beliefs through society like a disease.

People just say things and they infect you without you even knowing.

Some examples:

• Money doesn’t grow on trees

• Marriage is a bad idea and is the end of pleasurable sex

• Having kids means you can no longer have fun – your life will be miserable

• If you don’t do X, you will never become wealthy

• You better enjoy your life now because soon you will be old and incapable of enjoying life

These ideas, spread sometimes by very smart people, infect your mind.

So be weary of who you surround yourself with and what kind of language they use.

Why am i telling you this?

Because you can live your life any way you want.

Life is a blank canvas.

Do not live in the jail cell that others have created for themselves.
