It's The People, Stupid

Many of us are so caught up in our ideas and building that we forget that, ultimately, humans enable success or failure.

A human that will buy our product.

A human that will invest in our product.

A human that will talk about our product.

A human we can partner with.

I’m an introvert. So this takes constant reminding for someone like myself.

You don’t need to be everyone’s best friend, but I challenge you to pick up the phone. Answer the email. Send the message. Take the important meeting.

If you look back at the greatest entrepreneurs of all time, you will see that ultimately people took a risk on them. Many shelling out a lot of money.

This does not just “happen” unless you put yourself out there.

So if you find yourself running into a wall, remember: It’s the people, stupid.

Building a company is hard. You (and your employees) are going to need help.
